Elevate Surveying was established on the Gold Coast with a clear purpose: to offer developers, builders, and property owners a surveying practice that combines serious technical capability with the responsiveness you only get from a boutique firm.
Led by James, a Queensland registered cadastral surveyor with over 18 years of experience across New Zealand and Australia, Elevate has grown from a solo practice into a team of five — each person chosen for their skill, reliability, and commitment to getting the job done right.
We work across the full spectrum of cadastral and development surveying — from contour and feature surveys for architects and engineers through to multi-lot subdivision titling for major developers. Whatever the project, you'll deal with the people who are actually doing the work.

James founded Elevate Surveying with a straightforward goal — to build a practice that does excellent cadastral work without the overhead and impersonal service of a large firm. With over 18 years of experience across New Zealand and Australia, he has worked across land development, titling, infrastructure, and construction projects of all scales.
Based on the Gold Coast, James leads all technical and registered work at Elevate — from contour and feature surveys and construction set-out through to complex subdivision titling and Titles Office lodgement. He is directly involved in every project and accessible to clients throughout.
Registered surveyor and field anchor for Elevate. Brandon leads field operations and is the quality control checkpoint for all survey fieldwork before data leaves site.
Jordan works alongside Brandon in the field, handling survey instrumentation, data collection, and site set-out across the Gold Coast and SEQ region.
Ali is the first point of contact for new enquiries, quotes, and client communication — keeping projects on track and clients informed.

Before we start, you get a clear fee estimate and scope of work. No vague quotes, no unexpected extras. If something changes mid-project, we tell you before it affects the cost.
We flag issues when we find them — not when it's too late. Title anomalies, encroachments, council requirements — you'll hear about them early, with options to address them.
Modern survey instrumentation, digital drafting workflows, and integrated job management mean faster turnaround and more accurate deliverables — without inflated fees.
Every plan, boundary determination, and Titles Office submission is reviewed and signed off by James as the registered cadastral surveyor. No exceptions.
We work alongside your builder, planner, certifier, and solicitor — not in isolation. Surveying is usually a critical path item, so we plan around your programme, not ours.
We maintain a manageable workload deliberately. If we can't deliver your project on time, we'll tell you before you engage us — not after. Your timeline matters to us.
